I’m Feeling: …

We would like to thank you, our family and friends for your wishes and gifts and most importantly, your presence at our dinner yesterday that made our wedding a memorable one.

I’m Feeling: grateful

the liquor that we bought and brought in to our dinner the day before,

was already displayed in our dinner hall for consumption.

13 martells, 3 Black Label, 3 Chivas Regal and

24 bottles of Red Wine

+ 13 jugs of beer complimentary from the dinner

it would be comical if per glass is chargable.

The night after our wedding dinner adjourned to King’s Connection

for darling AK’s birthday and more drinking … and for lots of craziness.

Not only i was high, the rest of the people too… chuckle chuckle.

I’m Feeling: man & wife

“”chuckle, chuckle”””

We got all almost all stuff ready, the seatings and planner darling AK was racking his brains for this and that and its finally done.

There’s always a few that couldn’t make it at the last min or perhaps that last last min or last second probably, I guess we have to make do with that.

anyway, its a simple get-together celebration dinner.

The Wednesday we went to the Registry of Marriage for our submission and
“” statutory” declaration IN THE morning. The wait was only about half an hour but there was a lot of people with foreigners registering their marriage as well.

It was interesting as we sat there and do some funny observation. Can’t make any post of it though.. tsk tsk…

We had to do some swearing in front of the person (whoever you called that), reading the SWEARS and before we took the SWEARS, the man asked if we would liked in English or Mandarin. Of course English we chose! so darling AK started swearing and then me. And the SWEARS in English was terribly “” CHIM”””, so deep the english, cannot pronounce some words properly lor…. …..

half the time we were ahhhh ahhhh ahhh…. the man had to pronounce and we follow….

Then if we took the CHINESE version of swearing, I think the person will have to dictate WORD for WORD before me..

I’m Feeling: giggle

it looks like the happy day arrangement is almost done..

There were still some changes to the seating arrangements, moving the names-sie around and about.

Its like trying to jigsaw and fit perfectly the names in a puzzle table.

We are not looking for a perfect wedding day, just a simple small celebration together with our close ones, close friends relatives and working colleagues to commemorate this day together with us. Makan drinking and be merry…

I probably might have missed this point at some of my stupid moments, in the course of our organizing, and, chuckle chuckle, gladly, darling AK reminded me of this point and I relented.

So now I kinda relax and have to enjoy every bit of the preparation caused it’s the fun part.

It doesn’t matter how things worked out in the end I guess.
in the end, the important thing to remember is, making it a perfect wedding day is not the total point but having a beautiful imperfected marriage for a life time ………………………..at the end..
