Turnstile

The building my office is in had recently installed the turnstile, which I didn’t know the name of the gate way until this lunch when me and Agnes saw the sign.

So the next time before we entered the lift, we had to pass through the turnstile with the building card as well as the usual scanning of the card in the lift to get to our office level.

One extra more step .

New word wor.

A turnstile, also called a baffle gate, is a form of gate which allows one person to pass at a time. It can also be made so as to enforce one-way traffic of people, and in addition, it can restrict passage to people who insert a coin, a ticket, a pass, or similar. Thus a turnstile can be used in the case of paid access (sometimes called a faregate when used for this purpose), for example public transport as a ticket barrier or a pay toilet, or to restrict access to authorized people, for example in the lobby of an office building.

Horses sleeping while standing

Last evening over at the dinner in Turf Club, me and Carol spotted a horse in the stable and walked over after our visit to the toilet and the smell was horrid so we strolled back quickly to the dinner table.
Then she wondered if the horse like dogs and cats lie on their back sideways to catch their sleep.
I only know to answer that horse sleep standing up but behind the explaination, I do not know.

Its interesting, yeah horses do sleep standing up! And not be tired.
Imagine if God actually made us standing sleeping,…

Horses sleeping standing:-

The answer lies in a system of tendons and ligaments that work together with the knee cap. Animal experts call this the “stay apparatus.” It’s a pretty clever design, really. At any time, a horse needs only to relax the muscles on his front legs, and the stay apparatus will kick in. For the back legs, a horse must rotate its hips to activate the built-in locking mechanism.

Of course, the horse can sleep lying down if it so chooses, but God has designed this magnificent animal to get forty winks on four legs.

Karma of Life

I think sometimes that I would might have bad karma for the meanest things I have thought, then again, I always think of the good stuff too. Then sometimes when we can’t figure how to stop a person from spreading false reality about someone else, we gave up and leave it to the person’s karma! or badmouthing the others all the time for jeolousy sake..

Just like in 156, we decided to leave this man alone for his own drinking and seating. His mouth could be worst than any market-auntie’s mouth,….. chi chi chi with all the nonsense without admitting the root of the chi chi chi chi is his own bloody fault.
Let him chi chi chi chi more and let his own karma deal with him.

Karma is totally not another term for retribution !

Then today I was wondering, everyone self has a self in which karma comes back be it good or bad inside.

Karma (Sanskrit: कर्म kárma (help·info), kárman– “act, action, performance”[1]; Pali: kamma) is the concept of “action” or “deed” in Indian religions understood as that which causes the entire cycle of cause and effect (i.e., the cycle called samsara) described in Hindu, Jain, Sikh and Buddhist philosophies.
The philosophical explanation of karma can differ slightly between traditions, but the general concept is basically the same. It is usually understood as a sum of all that an individual has done, is currently doing and will do. The results or ‘fruits’ of actions are called karma-phala. Karma is not about retribution, vengeance, punishment or reward; karma simply deals with what is. The effects of all deeds actively create past, present and future experiences, thus making one responsible for one’s own life, and the pain and joy it brings to them and others. In religions that incorporate
reincarnation, karma extends through one’s present life and all past and future lives as well.

Concidental?

yesterday we had a simple and relazing day at home accompanying the Daddy of mine! while we did the household chores, the Daddy took a great day to rest and the AK prepared simple dishes for dinner for the 3 of us.

The eyesore chores is enough to keep me busy for more than 12 hours, by the time i got things in straight mode, it was rather dark outside!

several bottles of beer me and the Ak just at the outside before the aches and tiredness enfolds.

and then i was just thinking and speaking loud to the darling Ak,

– if there weren’t any stamford trip, we would not cancel the Malacca trip
– if then if the stamford trip wasn’t few days after Daddy & Mom’s China trip, darling AK would have joined them

which in fact is all PLANNED nicely by the Lord

which is

– if Malacca trip wasn’t cancelled, the AK and me would have left and Daddy would be alone in Singapore, in hospital and no-one to take care of him
– and finally stamford trip was cancelled, for me and the AK to take care of Daddy
– and if the AK left for China with my family and me continued to stamford, Daddy would be alone.

Everything has its reason for its existence isn’t it.

Amazingly, how things worked out perfectly.

so why get miserable and ponder about the past, if we ourselves can’t change the past
and why worry about tomorrow, if we know not what tomorrow lies ahead
so just make merry today and let the today be of good memories in the future!

Wife Biscuit

This morning we had an email from Tong to help ourselves with the wife biscuit in the pantry.

So the colleague asked why is it called wife biscuits.. I also don’t know …

Inquisitive-ly….

[edit] Legendary Origin
A long time ago in feudal China, there was a couple that lived a very poor life. They loved each other and lived in a small village.
Suddenly, a mysterious disease spread. The husband’s father became very sick. The couple spent all of their money in order to treat the man’s father, but he was still sick. The wife sold herself as a slave in exchange for money to buy medicine for her father-in-law.
Once the husband learned about what his wife did, he made a cake filled with winter melon and with a crispy crust. His cake became so popular that he was able to earn enough money to buy his wife back.
There is another version where the man was eating at someone’s house and recognized his wife’s pastry and was reunited.

How Aids Started

Our curious talk made of how Aids came about to my search in the internet…

And not only It constraint to gays now,. it spreading well and more to the ladies to date. ..
Ga ga

Still want to eat monkeys, ownself die can liao, spread to the others is terrible…

“Aids was transmitted from monkeys to humans in africa to start. it was then spread globally by a gay airline steward named Gaëtan Dugas. the massive outbreak in san francisco was directly caused by Mayor Nancy Pelosi when she refused to close the gay bathhouses for over a year while knowing gay men were transmitting aids in open and anonymous sex ..”

“After 25 years of speculation, an international scientific team has traced the origin of HIV to wild chimpanzees in a remote area of Cameroon, Africa. The first human to be infected with the virus is believed to be a hunter who came into contact (by bite or cut) with an infected chimp. In the early 80s, HIV was seen as a gay disease or a “rare cancer that affected homosexuals” as stated in the documentary Gay Sex in the 70s. So, why is the link between chimps and HIV an important discovery? In the wake of the AIDS pandemic, it’s crucial that we all realize HIV/AIDS can affect anyone, not just gay people. And though there is still no cure for AIDS, learning the origin of the deadly virus may bring us one step closer to saving countless lives.”

One Flaw In Women

One Flaw In Women
(you will see what it is in the end)

lovemysnoopy ; reminder
Women have strengths that amaze men.

They bear hardships and they carry burdens, but they hold happiness, love and joy.
They smile when they want to scream.
They sing when they want to cry.
They cry when they are happy and laugh when they are nervous.
They fight for what they believe in.
They stand up to injustice.
They don’t take ‘no’ for an answer when they believe there is a better solution.
They go without so their family can have.
They go to the doctor with a frightened friend.
They love unconditionally.
They cry when their children excel and cheer when their friends get awards.
They are happy when they hear about a birth or a wedding.
Their hearts break when a friend dies.
They grieve at the loss of a family member, yet they are strong when they think there is no strength left.
They know that a hug and a kiss can heal a broken heart.
Women come in all shapes, sizes and colors.
They’ll drive, fly, walk, run or e-mail you to show how much they care about you.
The heart of a woman is what makes the world keep turning.
They bring joy, hope and love.
They have the compassion and ideas.
They give moral support to their family and friends.
Women have vital things to say and everything to give.
HOWEVER, they need to be Loved and the Support of their Loved Ones
